Welcome to the Earlham Friends Collection and College Archives' digital collections.

The Friends Collection and College Archives has two primary purposes. First, we are the official repository for Earlham's records. Anything related to the college's history is housed with us. We collect items of historical interest, including photographs, documents, and artifacts, as well as records from committees, student life, departments, and offices.

The Friends Collection's print and manuscript collections include the college's books and periodicals on Quakerism, manuscripts related to Friends, the records of the New Association of Friends and Indiana, Western, and Northern Yearly meetings, and Quaker organizational records like Friends United Meeting. We have one of the four or five largest Quaker Collections in the world, with more than 13,000 books and nearly as many pamphlets, some going back to the 17th Century when the Society of Friends was founded.
